It’s no secret, dreams do come true at any of the Disney theme parks and they truly are the happiest places on Earth. Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a magical place where adventure meets imagination. Amidst the lush landscapes and captivating wildlife, there’s a way to make your visit even more memorable (and it’s more affordable than you think) – Capture Your Moment. In a previous post, I shared my 24HR whirlwind Disney adventure and in this post, I’ll share details about the add-on that’s 100% worth every penny. Last year I turned 40 and of course it just made sense to treat myself to a personalized photography experience at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and it exceeded all my expectations. I’ll quickly recount the highlights of this enchanting experience.
The Personalized Touch:
Capture Your Moment is an exclusive photography session offered by Disney’s PhotoPass service. The experience allows guests to have their own private photographer capturing the magical moments throughout the park. As soon as I arrived at the designated meeting location, I was greeted by my friendly Disney PhotoPass photographer and assistant, who made me feel at ease and excited for the adventure ahead.
You don’t have to be celebrating anything specific to book this service. My birthday was back in October and we decided we would turn it into a birthday photoshoot as in their eyes, “we celebrate whenever you arrive.” That absolutely warmed my heart and made this milestone year extra special for me. They customized a sign that said “Celebrating 40 Magical Years.”
Exploring the Wonders of Animal Kingdom:
Armed with my photographer and assistant, we embarked on a journey through the captivating world of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. From the iconic Tree of Life to the immersive lands of Africa, every step of the way was accompanied by stunning photo opportunities. My photographer knew all the best angles and secret spots to capture the essence of each location, making every photograph a work of art.
Magical Memories Captured:
During the session, my photographer made sure to capture not only posed shots but also candid moments that truly reflected the joy and wonder of the experience. From playful encounters with the park’s inhabitants to special interactions with characters, every frame captured a precious memory. The attention to detail and the dedication to capturing the essence of my Disney adventure was evident in every photograph.
The Gift of Time:
One of the most valuable aspects of Capture Your Moment was the luxury of time. The experience is available in 20-minute increments, allowing guests to truly savor the moment and create a diverse collection of photographs. I know that does not seem like a lot of time but it honestly was perfect and my photographer ensured that I had a wide range of images to choose from at the end of the session.
A Treasured Keepsake:
At the end of my Capture Your Moment experience, I was provided a link to view and download my digital photos. I could access all of my photos instantly through the Disney App. The images were AMAZING and I was absolutely blown away! Do yourself a favor though and buy the Memory Maker Package so that you can download all of your photos as well as continue to take photos at any of the photo spots with other photographers you come across throughout the park. This also includes any of the other parks that you visit that same day. By the end of my trip, I walked away with nearly 100 photos with the majority of them taken during my Capture Your Moment experience.
