The Centurion Lounge Experience In ATL

The Centurion Lounge Entrance

Recently, I had the pleasure of experiencing The Centurion Lounge in Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, and I must say, it was extremely impressive.  From the moment you step through the doors, you’re greeted with an ambiance of sophistication and tranquility. The sleek, modern design coupled with warm, inviting tones creates an atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. Whether you’re traveling for business or pleasure, The Centurion Lounge offers a sanctuary where you can unwind and recharge before your flight.

The Centurion Lounge also offers a variety of comfortable seating options, including cozy armchairs and spacious workspaces, perfect for catching up on emails, watching tv or planes taking off.  There’s also no shortage of outlets and charging ports. There are two separate open air spaces that are gorgeous.  The exterior patio will give you a view of the airplanes and the interior patio is a relaxing garden sanctuary.  Make sure you at least walk through both of them.

I arrived at the Lounge as it opened at 6AM ET and there was already a line out the door.  The check-in process for the most part was pretty speedy however it is not as fast as the Delta Skyclub and there are some rules that are not very clear to those trying to visit.  The Lounge does have an FAQ sign displayed just outside of the door but most do not take a second look at it.  Here are the top two things to know before you go….

  1. You be departing or on a layover of a Delta flight that very day (No other airline passengers are allowed entrance).
  2. You must be a Delta Platinum or Business Platinum carrier and be able to present your credit card and your boarding pass at check-in.

I highly recommend reviewing the FAQs!

I had heard only good things about the food and I looked forward to tasting all that they had to offer.  Since I was short on time I didn’t have a chance to try too many things but the fruit was fresh and the buffet was well stocked.  I also loved that they had little snack and beverage stations located in multiple spots throughout the lounge.  You could quickly grab a yogurt, fruit, or vegetable cup right out of the cooler near where you might be seated and not have to venture clear across the lounge back to the main dining area. This is a great feature!

I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to The Centurion Lounge and I look forward to coming back to hopefully experience it during the day.  Stay tuned for a part two in the future!
